It was excellent to see MIC client Farmwall launch their first corporate urban farm in partnership with Mirvac. Farmwall and Mirvac have co-created Cultivate—a pop up urban farm exclusive to the Mirvac community. The project will be held at one of Australia’s most sustainable buildings—200 George Street.

With MIC mentors in attendance, it was a great launch event with over 180 Ernst and Young and Mirvac staff signing on as urban farmers. Staff within the building taking on the role of ‘farmers’ will be trained in how to maintain and operate the farm.
I know it was a huge effort from Geert, Serena and Matt to get the urban farm operational within a week. A terrific effort and we’re looking forward to hearing the feedback and data from the first eight weeks!
