43 James Street, Northcote, 3070
Our Northcote facility is a digital arts-based business incubator. The concept builds upon the highly successful general purpose business incubation program - with the main focus and mission of the facility to assist newly established digital arts businesses during the critical initial growth phase.
Northcote's business incubation program is specifically targeted at businesses working within the creative and digital arts fields.
This facility was established in 2010, after two years of extensive planning. Melbourne Innovation Centre, in conjunction with the City of Darebin, refurbished the former Northcote Police Station to utilise as business incubator office space. Northcote is well-known for being a hub of creativity just out of Melbourne, providing an inspirational location for the businesses in residence.
The facility itself has the capacity to accommodate up to twelve client businesses and provides critical services such as financial management, basic website development, marketing strategies, networking opportunities and legal/governance knowledge.
Our Northcote coworking space is called The Station. A small, focused area that sits six members at a time. This space is ideal for those who need peace and quiet to concentrate, but enjoy being a short walk from the trendy cafes and restaurants that High Street has to offer.
Full-time membership offers secure access the space 24/7, as well as the meeting room, communal kitchen, and internet. Part-time membership offers the same access, but only up to 2 days per week.
Full-time: $320 (+GST)
Part-time: $200 (+GST)
