David leads the development and execution of Melbourne Innovation Centre’s strategy and plays a key role in shaping new products and services that drive the organisation’s growth and impact. He brings extensive consulting and advisory experience across start-ups, SMEs, social enterprises and First Nations and migrant-led businesses.

Alongside his leadership role, David provides business coaching and advisory support to founders and small-business owners, helping them strengthen strategy, build capability and turn ideas into action. Holding degrees in Business and Commerce, Communication and an Executive MBA, he combines strategic insight with a practical understanding of how innovation and technology can improve performance and create lasting impact.

He also serves on several not-for-profit and social enterprise boards in governance roles including Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. Away from work, David enjoys cooking, music, sport and discovering new food experiences.
